Just started following “St. Thomas the Doubter” Church because of cartoons like this one! Classic! This is a great illustration of why fundamentalism exists. Somehow, in the midst of all of this division, people want certainty. So new trends evolve in order to provide certainty… but the giant web of divisions increases yearly which adds to the uncertainty. This is one way in which I sympathize with Catholicism that basically says: No divisions! But human nature is against that doctrine, so what to do? Judaism and Agnosticism both implement a healthy amount of doubt into their faith systems. I like that too! If we all just doubted a bit more we’d probably have much more sympathy and understanding for one another. Thanks St. Thomas!
